dumb question: so if I have my Popcorn hour, will it "remote control" GBPVR so i can do PVR stuff? How does MVP relate to this? Do I "point" PCH at GBPVR (or is it the otherway round). Apologies for dumb question, I read the wiki but wasn't too clear on this. thanks!

The GB-PVR interface will appear on the Popcorn hour itself. The MVP is related because this is another (older) hardware box that can show the GB-PVR interface. The Popcorn hour is newer and offers HD stuff as well as support for more file formats.

It's not remote control though. The PC server can be running the gbpvr interface independently from the popcorn hour or mvp, or not running the interface at all (though the server *must* always run the recording service). The popcorn hour and mvp display the gbpvr interface independent from what's running on the PC.
