Couple requests for WizImageGrabber.

1. Can we have the ability to enable/disable specific resources it uses to pull the images from?

2. Can we reorder the order in which the resources check for files.

Mainly because I find that "EP Guide" gives me the best image for a TV series/show, but not any for a movie, etc. the IMDB works best for movies, but unfortunately, I get junk images from IMDB for TV series/shows.

This would give me more flexibility to get the images I want.

Thanks!

I think this requests can be address, unfortunately I am on the road until Aug 8th, and do not have access to my dev machine. Bump this thread around then, and I'll have a look.

May I add another wish for ImageGrabber:

/PurgeImage:nnn

Delete images from media\art folder more than nn days old.

Working on this program now, I have added a few of these items to my working version. I'll look at adding that purge option as well.

I hope I'm not too late...Wink would you be able to add an option to the cli such that the user could, from the DB, tag the mpg, create a standard xml file and create an _export xml file in the same pass? (belt and braces both...)

Hmm.. Not sure this make sense to me. WizImageGrabber grabs images off the net for EPG entries. You indicate you want to 'tag' the mpg and create a xml/export file. These shows only have EPG entries, they are probably not recorded.

I think what you are looking for is functionality found in WizMetadataGrabber.

It's already got it Smile

Check out the /sb option, saves both embedded (ADS) and external xml formats. Help can be displayed by typing WizMetadataGrabber.exe /help at a command prompt.

Make sure you run interactive and set the batch options to include a lookup in the db (options tab, Metadata Source Priority, select Batch and make sure Database/EPG is checked).

Been thinking about this... Not sure we want to delete any image file older than nnn days, since we may end up deleting alot of images that are still valid (ie. for weekly/daily series), and then we would have to re-look them up again.

I'm thinking it should ONLY delete the image if there is NO associated entry in the EPG.

Does that make sense, or am I missing something??
