dannyv45 Wrote:Now this can be useful. I just have to find out what channels are broadcast in what frequencies from my cable provider. I seem to remember running across a site that had that info. I have to do some searching for it.

Try this

http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/channels_us

is silicondusts website that provides a list of OTA and free and clear QAM channels, the frequencies are listed there too

Yes, the 94's should all be able to be recorded using multi-record and 1 QAM tuner.

This can be of use to me then. I'll have 4 major HD channels covered with 2 tuners.

101-705 5.1 WNYWDT
101-704 4.1 WNBCDT
100-711 11.1 WPIXDT
100-709 9.1 WWORDT

These are just what I noticed with a quick scan of the list. I'll have to really look at this.

I may not need the second HDHomerun after all.

So checking multi record will record the entire frequency and ts mux seperates out the channels on the fly putting them into there individual .TS Streams. And will only grab the streams I select lets say via the PPG.
The device always delivers the entire data on that frequency to the app. If the app is recording one or more files, then the appropriate parts of the datastream are sent various individual .ts files being created.

I just got home and to my surprise I was already setup for multi recording. I had I guess when I first installed gbpvr checked multi-record and already use ts mux. So I selected quick record for channels 4,5,9 and 11 via the ppg and to my surprise it recorded all 4 channels perfectly. I am very excited.

And by the way I canceled the 2nd HDHomerun.
