As someone who's had to do a bit faffing about enabling (adding) and disabling (removing) the same tuners, each time adding to the scan cache number, each time having to add and map channels etc., would it not be a great idea to be able to disable a tuner by deselecting a checkbox, rather than removing it?

This means you keep all the channel mappings and scan cache items associated with it - it just doesn't do anything while disabled.

Sub: any reason why not?

It may or may not be in the next release though. I've wanted to add this for the last year or so, but havnt found the time yet.

If you do go in there, you might want to take a paintbrush with you and put the arrows back on the buttons that move the sources up and down.

you can a similar effect if you just uncheck all the channels associated with that source...
of course it doesn't remove anything from db, but it does effectively disable tuner without any changes..
and now there's handy 'select all' in channels part..Smile
