For SD monitors the filename needs to be sd_index.html

However for the life of me I don't know why people like to wait 30+ seconds for index.html after power up when you can simply go

Thanks for the info. I had seen the sd_index before, but didn't know it was required. I'll test it this evening. Didn't know the key presses either. Now we will have choices! I won't wait 30 seconds, but others can.

One other little issue.....:o

I had programmed my universal remote with the blue button from a hauppauge remote, but it doesn't work with PCH. Is there a difference between the hauppauge and PCH remote blue button?

The NMT remote needs Popcorn Hour remote commands, it is not Hauppauge compatible.

If you are using Martins lirc tweak to be able to use a (much nicer) Hauppauge remote - then it is not available when the PCH is rebooted as lirc needs reloading again. I have to frantically search for the PCH remote and usually have to find batteries for it when this happens. Fortunately the PCH and Martins software seems so reliable this doesn't happen often (plus I leave the PCH up all the time).

Yes, I've noticed that with lirc my universal (ie: hauppauge) remote doesn't work after PCH reboot until gbpvr is started. But even then, the blue button doesn't work. I'll have to check into it more. It's been a long time since I programmed the URC. I wonder if there is a code for loading the PCH remote?

I did find that the PCH, upon power up, will wake my machine with "allow only..." disabled. Now we'll see if it will still stay in standby when it should. I also have ether-wake in the share, so I don't really know what worked. :o

I renamed index to sd_index.html, but I still do not get PCH auto loading gbpvr. When I power up the PCH, it goes to the share after about 10 seconds, but sits there. Should sd_index.html auto load gbpvr from there? :confused:

With the custom lircd the Hauppauge remote definitely sends the Blue Key From the GBPVR logs
