I spent a bit (lots & lots actually) of time over the weekend & have made some new index.htm scripts to automatically load GB-PVR from cold boot & to look more like the default blue skin views. The top image is what you see if you don't press "enter" the lower images are after pressing "enter" (they look different on the TV screen & have a green high light bar & no underlines)

I have been using this way to automatically load for almost a month now & I haven't had any problems with it at all & to top it off the WAF has grown heaps because of it Wink

I feel these will probably be the ones I will post on the wiki but I would like a couple of testers first to make sure they are OK, comments & suggestions welcome.

Do NOT try this unless you have a fully working NMT setup already loading from a share.

Instructions:

Download index(x).zip (or index_sd(x).zip) unzip into your share folder (C:\mvpmc as default)

for HD TV download "index(x).zip" for SD TV use the "index_sd(x).zip"

Open GB-PVR.html in a linux editor do not use notepad.exe (if you don't already have one you can get one here http://www.editpadpro.com/editpadlite.html) & find this line

<a href="http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/PVR-SERVER:mvpmc/gbpvr.cgi">GB-PVR</a>

take a note of the share name.... in this case PVR-SERVER:mvpmc ...(NOTE it is case sensitive) open index.htm (or index_sd.htm) in your editor & edit the references to the share (there are three of them, don't miss the one down near the bottom of the script) to be EXACTLY the same as it is in your GB-PVR.html.

Cold boot your NMT & manually select your share for the first time at the network browser screen as it needs to be your last used option for it to work automatically, it should them jump to the loading screen & after 3 seconds load GB-PVR. On the next cold boot of your NMT it should automatically load if you don't press any buttons. Please let me know how you get on.

Tried this today and it works. The only comment is that you must time the power off with the red button if you actually want to turn the NMT off.

Nice work, thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I not totally sure what you mean about the shutdown as I am still using my EGreat which powers off differently than a PCH (I have been to busy to get to even testing my new A100 refer'bs yet), I assume it is loading into GB again before you get time to press the power button again?

I would think you could try pressing the power button to get back to the NMT screen then the enter button to stop automatic loading & then the power button again?

I should probably have also mentioned in my first message (& will on the wiki)....

If you remove index.htm or index_sd.htm from your share directory your install will be back to the way it was, so there is no real danger of breaking a good working setup when trying this out Wink

Second thing: you don't have to wait the 20/30 seconds for it to automatically jump from the source screen to the loading GB-PVR screen, if you select your share & press enter or press the number of the share it will jump instantly to the loading screen.
