Can someone give me a detailed description of how to change filter merit priorties in XP so i can have certain codecs be the default ones even when using WMP. I am stuggling on how to change their priorities

try gspot..been using it for ages to manipulate them...Smile

Myself I like Direct Show filter manager (dsfmgr);

I have tried Gspot before and wasnt that successful. Will try direct show manager

Good tool to change merits is GraphStudio.

GraphStudio is installed by SAF too.

EDIT:

NOTE:
Just remember to do system restart after merit change to take effect.
