Installer setting folder permissions..bad idea?

I believe I can set the GBPVR folder specifically to be FullAcess for all users during a plugin/skin install. This would be a prompt that would default to decline, stating something that the user should understand potential security risks. Then possibly an additional confirm prompt just to make sure.

Does this sound like a good idea, given obvious safety concerns?

I used to think letting people know what to do was best, but I've had a lot more success since I set up the share in my NMTInstaller

The command to do this is so simple though (run as administrator) I can't see why anyone who can set up GBPVR can't get it.

cacls.exe "C:\program files\devnz\GBPVR" /T /E /G Everyone:F

That was my thought, to just do it for them, but I just felt I was crossing a line doing that without letting them know.

As for the ease of setting the permissions (a search on the Internet is what it would take) I don't take the user's "expertise" for granted. I have been tripped up by that too many times.
