Anyone found a way to get a copy of Wiki pages to local HDD for playing with?

Specifically Home and Manual? I just never sussed the HTTracker thing out.

Particularly now there seems to be a whole new GBPVR homepage coming.....!

Cheers

I'm now trying this one:
http://www.offlinedownloader.com/
It seems to do the job, but it isn't finished yet.

It finished fine, downloaded a total of 113 MB, I haven't completely tested if it downloaded everything but it looks fine on first sight. I set a threshold of 5 levels deep. Just to be sure you could set that higher I guess.
But you can also do that later and download only the extra files.
I hope you understand what I mean.Sad

I let it run again with the level set to 8, it nicely adds the files to the already downloaded files. But now I get the idea that it is downloading the complete forum. So I stopped it. Probably setting the level to 5 was agood guess the first time.
Let me know how you get along. If necessary I could put the files online somewhere I guess.

He he he it started doing that for me too!!! Now that is a little more detail than I was after Big Grin

Great Hans, thanks for your help I seem to have most of what I was after now but I left it pretty much at default settings as couldn't see where to change filter/threshold levels that you mentioned. Presume you tweaked something in 'Options'?

Cheers

In options you can set all kinds of settings including "link level".
Good to hear that things worked out for you finally.

cya Hans

Edit: default link level is 3 I think. The first attempt I set it to 5. Than downloading stopped at 113 MB. It downloaded only a little bit from the forum.
