I found that a border is painted outsite and inside of an image. (see attach)

<CompositeImage name="MessageBoxImage" size="70.0,50.0">
<DrawRoundedRect loc="5,5" size="90,90" fillColor="ForwardDiagonal:#00000200-#F0004880" borderColor="MessageBoxBorder" radius="3" borderWidth="1.5"/>
<DrawText text="@text" loc="25,25" size="100,100" textStyle="NormalText" align="Left"/>
</CompositeImage>

shouldnt the border painted outside the filled area ?

Its not entirely clear to me what you mean. Can you ask the question a different way?

the border of the roundrect is painted half outside the "roundrect" but half inside the "roundrect". In my oppinion there should no overlapping between the border an the "roundrect".

Sorry thats just the way it works. This is the way the GDI.NET GraphicsPath stuff works. ie, if you ask it to draw along that path with a 10 pixel wide pen, it stays centered on the path, so 5 pixels would be inside, 5 pixels would be outside.

I can make a small change for the next release so that the outline is drawn after filling the path, so that you dont see this gradient effect on the inside part. Currently it draws that path outline then fills it.

could work if the outline part replace the inside portion of pixels. It wouldnt work if it "paint over" in case of (half) transparency of the outline.

It should be tested.
