I picked up a HD PVR at a good Boxing Day price ($160) and it finally is getting delivered next week. One of the things I like about MythTV is remote tuners and I'd like to see the HD PVR used as a network tuner. I thought that this wasn't possible on GBPVR but the I read about DVBLink and I see they mention GBPVR. Does anyone have experience with it, the homepage is here http://dvblogic.com/

I heard about it but hadn't tried it. You could probably come up with a solution on your own though.

The main issue I'm having with the HDPVR is channel changing on the STB. I used to use FireWire but FireSTB does not work on x64 (which I am now running). A networked tuner could solve that but I don't want to run another box just to run x86 for channel changes.

that software does sound interesting..specially for MCE's..allowing them some of our abilities...

if you have a mce dongle, have you tried my net2hipsend or mceblast?
they really are much more reliable and faster than typical offerings..
mine changes so fast it's done before capture even starts so i don't see changes..
no rec service logon worries either..works in all modes.

but out of luck if only have the built-in hdpvr blaster..
man i wish they'd allow importing/learning codes for those..
