16x9 modes

Are full, fit and crop zoom modes working as expected for you on 16x9 files? I've just got a HD PVR hooked up to HD cable box and it doesn't work the way I want but I don't want to change things that others are using.

Thanks, you can blame it on wifi here in the TV room and less than engaging network choices.
