If you could also post your thoughts on the plugin allowing Premium account holders access to more features (Playlists, Top Lists, Artist and Album reviews and metadata etc) that would be grand.

I think it is OK that premium customers get more functionality. And it would be great if the functionality in MusicSpot were enhanced for premium users.
That said, I will probably become a paying customer in the near future. Mainly to be able to bring a lot of music with me when I travel around Europe for a couple of weeks.
-Premium customers can play music in offline mode.

And I really would like to be able to use my playlists in the plugin as well.
If this means I have to have a premium account, so be it. The Spotify music catalog is really huge so I guess that it is worth it.
Premium gets you higher bitrate, no commercials and possibility to play music offline on any computer and on a lot of phones.

I've no problem with more functionality for premium users, but I doubt if I will ever be one though (way too grippy). From a developers POV I suppose it depends on the user demand for it or if it's something you really want.

Yet ??

I missed the bandwagon as well when they closed the "free entry"
Does it work in a similar fashion to Pandora? I liked that with it's suggestions of similar artists - well before the gate came down on that one as well
