I recently bought a PC fitted with this card but I cannot get it to work with GBPVR or Nero, although it works with Windows Media Center. There is not much info on the Internet about this card and I have carried out standard procedures like updating drivers with no success. Nero recognises the analogue TV from the card and will scan and store digital channel information, but will not display any output either video or sound. GBPVR does not recognise the card at all. Does anybody have any suggestions?

run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr folder, then upload the filtercheck.log which will get created in the folder.

It wasn't attached firmly enough. It must have come loose and fallen off. Try and zip the log and then post it again.

Try adding these records to the bda.ini file in the gbpvr folder:

Code:
[NXP TV7231 DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=7231 BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=7231 BDA Digital Capture DVBT
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[NXP TV7231 DVB-S]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=7231 BDA DVBS Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=7231 BDA Digital Capture DVBS
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Then set up 2 capture sources, one for DVB-T, one for DVB-S (unless you don't require one of those)

The analog side of the device is not usable as it doesn't have a hardware mpeg encoder. (if you really want the analog side to work, you could try the grpahrecorder plugin from the wiki)
