Unfortunately there is nothing built in for the USB-UIRT at this stage, but I do hope to add support for it if I can find my USB-UIRT

Hopefully you're still able to use it via HIP or a command line blaster utility though.

Yep. ie, blaster support is via a user specified executable. The vast majority of users were always doing this in GB-PVR, with either HaupBlast.exe for Hauppauge remotes or HIP for MCE remotes.

OK, for testing, I dug around in the cupboard for what looked like a beanbag thingy and have an MCE Remote that is supposed to go with it.
Plugged it in USB and it installed a driver in Device Mangler as a "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver". Googled a bit and discovered there is a dir \Windows\ehome.

There are a few exe files in there - is one of them the one I need or must I use HIP or sth else?

You'd need to use something like hip, or eventghost, etc. I'm fairly sure the GBPVR wiki had pages describing how to set these up. It'd be pretty much the same in NPVR. ie, pointing to some executable, and supplying some parameters.

I havnt used any blasters for years.
