Can't play tv or recordings on NMT + wierdness

Not sure if this lives here or NMT forum? here as nmt is working fine with gbpvr.
No firewall ruinning on pvr.
Early days with NPVR on our main PVR machine.

Running on server with NPVR works fine, but with the NMT, menu's and the like are OK, but trying to play from the TV Guide or from a recording gives a blank screen for 10 or so seconds and then drops back to the menu.

Logs attached. and timings are
startup at 1400
start nmt at 1401
play an existing recording 1402
drops back to menu around 1402:30
exit 1403

Much wierdness though - during the above the server changed STB channels via the blaster.
No recordings pending, and the above was only playing a recording, no attempt to play live tv or from the guide.

I can't explain the weirdness but I am going to assume you didn't use NMTInstall2 so you need to follow this http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...post380958

I'm not sure if there is an MVP setting for this PCH either.

Thank you Martin - Yet again I feel foolish. ;(

TBH I had thought that the NMT would have been supported out of the box with the current version of npvr. I studiously checked the wiki and thought I had everything.

You guessed correctly, nmtinstall2 not used, I'm always twitchy about my scripts and startups getting upset with them set for selecting servers, resolutions and cable connections.

I had cut and pasted the MVP section of config from my test machine so that seems ok.

Also the changing channel wierdness did not happen this time, but did when I changed ports back - wierd.....

Once again, thanks. Getting closer to releasing it to the family.

I could easily made mvpmcx2 support NPVR out the box, but I feel defaulting to GBPVR still makes the most sense. I did ask sub if he could set the default for NPVR to be 5916, it does make sense to me.
