Thanks UJB, seems to be OK now.
Just checking: These times are expected when no time is entered?
It also seems to default to 1:30 a.m. Start and Finish, on the page, even if you clear the times and update the Search?

Code:
<SearchStartTime>01:01 AM</SearchStartTime>
    <SearchEndDate>
    </SearchEndDate>
    <SearchEndTime>01:01 AM</SearchEndTime>

Sorry UJB, this is the thread that just won't go away....you probably think I'm a serial complainer, but the success I have had seems ot be ONLY from inside the network (see logs, the last login is inside the netowrk, the ones with errors like this were earlier in the day from work).

Not sure why you are picking up npvr/login.aspx......that is an invalid context....... you should just be going to http://ip-address_or_DNS_Name/guide2.aspx it appears from the log that you are entering a context of http://ip-address_or_DNS_Name/npvr/guide2.aspx. This won't work. Any idea were that npvr is coming from? Are you entering it? Are you hosting through some other web server?

UJB

Actually I am entering it manually, as that is what I used in GBPVR. But at home it works, I get in Ok.
From the office I actually get the logon screen remotely, it just bails out after I type my login/pwd?

btw I dont use the CSS version guide2, just guide. I'm happy with the html version.

Ok...well the actual URL does not contain npvr like gbpvr did......you will get errors since nothing in NEWA looks for that context. If you don't have the npvr in then things are working ok???

I am ecstatic to report that http://myip:7999/guide.aspx works!
I am extra ecstatic that a long running WOL issue I have with my onboard Marvell Yukon NIC is (hopefully) solved by putting PICExpress Link State Management to "Never" in Power options, after realising that the onboard NIC is PICExpress, and after fiddling with BIOS settings and the Advanced Power Management Tab on the NIC for what seems like months, but is in reality years ... :-)

Thank you. A good week.

k.

btw 7999 -> 8866 Portforward. My ISP blocks 8866...
