Doesn't look like it Wink

I spend enough time tinkering, never mind contemplating chatting.

Not for chatting.. for doing exactly what's done on this forum, except conversation moves about 100 times faster... Idk.. it's just weird to me to see a project like this that isn't on Freenode, when most every development project I know has a place for support/discussion on Freenode... I guess this community is much different than the Linux community.

I think I've used IRC once since the 90s (when I used to be on it all the time). The benefit of using the forum over IRC is that if someone else is having the same issue later on, there is a record of the issue and possibly a fix that can be viewed later.

That said, feel free to start one if you like.

This isn't a development project, which I think is the big difference. We basically live and die by what sub gives out both as features, documentation, and plugin/skin support. It's not as good as an open environment but sub works very hard and we often get most of what we need. I can't see sub having the time to commit to limited audience of IRC to make it worth the effort.

No certainly not, but he creates the framework and interfaces that they must use.
