TV Listings3 (Tv Recordings) - Can't Cancel a Recurring Recording?

I'm loving having TV Listings working on NPVR but i can't get it to cancel a recurring recording in the TV Recording screen. Everytime i pull up a recurring and click cancel it still stays in the schedule and nothing happens. If i cancel the schedule through the TV Listing EPG then it works but it still appears in the recurring list until i exit and restart. If i cancel using the NPVR recording screen then everything works like it should and the entry is also removed from TV recordings.

Am i missing something?

Hi,

yes, the tv reocrdings plugin opens the schedule popup for recurring recordings which only allows to update the recurring recording or close the popup again ("cancel"). I'm going to add something for the next release.

Ah ok, i wondered if that might be the case

An option to remove the schedule would be excellent then i can remove the default recording screen completely. It;s a bit of a pain having to swap between them. I'll look forward to see what you come up with

TVListings is an essential plugin for me. Truly great work, Thanks.

Hi. We're finding similar problems but have also noticed that the computer wakes up from hibernation even after we delete a recording schedule. It's great that there is this wake up from hibernation (or sleep) behaviour as we're off grid on solar/batteries, but not so great when it wakes up to recorded something that we cancelled and then we wake up to find flat batteries...

the plugin doesn't touch the wakeup events for recordings, so there's nothing I could change.
