Don't let me hold you back! If you visit the autoit thread in that link above it is all working, with only a minor change required. You can start modifying it and testing it for what you need, URLs etc, and then checking that TVxB can parse it, if that is what you use.

Hi pBS, I've tried to get an answer at autit, no luck... so: is there a difference between the way wget saves html and FileWrite does it?

I'm having an odd propblem with the way FileWrite writes html files, in that a program (TVxb) I then use to parse the data in those files, does not recognise them and goes on to try to download them itself, rather than using the cached file prouced by thr script.

TVxb uses wget (as below) to download the files (there is a separate issue with TVxb not doing javascript which is why I am using autoit to download the files).

I'm still stuck on this issue of "the difference between the way wget saves html and Autoit's FileWrite does it?" and now the Cable provider pulled the EPG, so I need to rely on the website feed.

Any Autoit guru's here?
