I'm having a problem losing video on my PCH. It seems to have started when I updated to npvr 1.5 a while back. I can start it up and it will play a show just fine. But when it finishes or I stop it and try to play another one I don't get any video, just a black screen. The audio is there, tho. I have to to exit back to the PCH home screen then restart mvpmc to play the next show, then repeat as necessary. Kind of frustrating. I'm running the latest versions of npvr and mvpmc. The PCH is connected to the TV via the HDMI output. Any ideas? Thanks...

This sounds like a problem that can happen if you turn off your monitor or change HDMI source inputs while you leave mvpmcx2 running. This isn't really supported, but I did have a key Eject+Delete which resets the HDMI controller that might help.

If you don't think this is the problem, upload your logs and I will look further.

That may be it but it happens even if I don't turn off the TV or change to another input. If I watch a recording to its end and then immediately select another one, I get this behavior. The npvr GUI is still there and works OK, it only happens when I try to play another recording. The sound plays but not the video and if I press Stop, it'll stop playing and return to the npvr GUI. I can try the reset and see if that makes any difference...how do I input the Eject+Delete...Eject & Delete on the remote at the same time? Failing that, which logs would you need?

Thanks...

I was just throwing the HDMI issue out there, without logs I am just guessing most of the time. The reset is Eject followed by Delete

Logs - always all logs it makes it simpler.
