On the video library of the web client I have file types (m4v) that do not show up in the list. I have looked through some of the xml files and see the m4v extension in the <VideoLibraryExtensions> part of the config file. I am assuming this does not apply to the web client. Is there another file I need to edit so show m4v files (or other file types) in the web client?

Moved to the EWA forums (from GBPVR support forum) so UJB sees it.

I had the same problem until it was pointed out to me that I had to configure ffdshow as well as select it in the Decoders section. Perhaps you have the same issue?

The web client does use this setting to do the filtering for file extensions.

Did you try what chuck_2330 suggested?
