I'm not sure what is the problem but here's my errors:

I was able to use it w/ no problems yesterday and then today when I tried to use the app, I had lots of vertical lines and don't know how to get rid of it.

Now I get this error when I click on liveTV
Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Any suggestions for both of these problems?

The logs are located in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr, but I wont need them unless your getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error mentioned above (which could have been because the device was in use by another application?).

Your vertical lines and static sound just sounds like you've not entered the correct channel number into GB-PVR. Run the tuning assistant to see which channel GB-PVR can tune in, and to see whay channel number your should be using.

I'm on a digital cable and I can see the channel fine except for some of the vertical lines (which are not empty, they contain parts of the picture coming through) and I get that messed bit of static for the sound. Note that this worked out fine yesterday and I don't know what I did to mess it up.

Anyways I set the channel to 3 since the digital cable box has to be controlled through the ir blaster (still waiting on hauppauge's website to fix their link to the ir blaster application)

So does anyone else know how to resolve the vertical lines and added static sound to what I'm seeing when I play live-TV? (using a pvr-150)

So ok, when you play the mpg localy what do you get? I am talking on the monitor with say WMP. This will tell if its recording correctly or not. If its not recording correctly then you need to use WinTV2000 to see if the live TV is OK in that.
