I'm not sure if this is a developer question or a wishlist one, but I'll put it here anyway.

NPVR currently has the HORIZONTAL_ICON view for a list - which is really nice btw. Much prettier than its counterpart in GBPVR, and looks great when you've got a screen view of movie posters or something.

It scrolls offscreen from left-to-right though, perhaps in keeping with the "horizontal" thing that NPVR has going on in its main menu and so on. I'd also like to see a version of it where it could be made to scroll offscreen from top-to-bottom. I don't know if it should be a new type of list view (eg VERTICAL_ICON), or whether you could just throw in a single config.xml entry that would allow the user to specify horizontal or vertical for when a list is in this mode.

The first picture shows the current view, and the order it fills its elements with. The second picture shows how a vertical version of it should work.

I do hope to create a vertical list in a future release, and yes it'd be ordered the way you show in that diagram. I couldnt tell you when that might be though. It wont be in the next release though.

For a horizontal list the ordering pretty much had to go the way it did - it wouldnt have made sense to order it the other way. (think about the seemingly random bits of the list you'd see on each row in the other orientation if you were in a directory with lots of files)

Cheers sub. Great to know.
