I'm loving the present package. Great work!!

-Is it feasable to have "picture in picture"?

-When paused the info and timeline remains (although opaque) on screen. Could it fade as it does all other times?

Many thanks again

Sorry, but its unlikely I'll add picture in picture. It'd be a lot of work, and I dont think it'd be often used. I've never really used it on TVs I've owned in the past.

It already does, but unfortunately some video renderers do not allow any OSD updates unless video frames are being presented. ie, you'd only see the change once playback is resumed.

I noticed this in WinTV 2.4 and was wondering if it was on your todo list. Multiple windows of NPVR using the -multi option should do much the same thing anyway.

I notice that on Win7 with the EVR renderer, the info box does disappear after a bit when paused and the picture does jump forward one frame at that moment (obviously more noticable if I happen to pause during a fast-action scene). I imagine this part doesn't work with whatever renderer OTAjunkie is using on XP.

As to Picture-in-Picture, it's one of those ooohh, aaahh features that is rarely used by most people after trying it once or twice. I'm sure there are some people who just love it though. I guess it's one of those 'checkbox' features, probably why they wanted it added to WinTV.
