With the changed DeviceRules wont let me record (on sat) tv1 and (on sat) tv3 at the same time it comes up with no tuner available for this recording. when I try recording t and sat at the same time the sat recording file stops growing. when I put the old DeviceRules back in it records tv1 and tv3 on sat ok but not sat and t
I have a4000 and 3000 cards
Hope I explained it will (lol)
sub any ideas on this one?? Is there any more info that we can supply that would help diagnose the problem??
I know peanut is going to try only enabling the TVNZ channels on one card & the CanWest etc. channels on the other card to see what it then does, but that doesn't help for the DVB-T recording stopping the DVB-S recording growing when trying to record both at the same time problem.
I know what is happening, but dont really have any quick fix for you. If it had been two HVR-3000's, or two HVR-4000, or one of these and some other entirely different card then it would have been fine. It's only really happen because these closely related card look largely the same, but unfortunately used a different DVB-S filter name on the HVR-4000.
It would be nice if two separate devices could somehow be marked mutually exclusive for recording purpose. For firewire tuning not all channels will be available as copy freely so it will be valuable to record other channels via the analog tuner.
