One of the new features of V2.2.6 as the ability to "delete recordings with the 'record' key (Ctrl-K)". Is this supposed to work with a MCE remote? The "Record" button on my remote generates Ctrl-R which would seem logical so does not delete.

I just tried this here and the Record key caused a Ctrl-K. Are you sure you're not running any 3rd party IR software like Hip or EventGhost or IRSS?

Start the app then press the Record button, then post the npvr.and I'll take a look.

I can confirm that both computers have a very recent clean standard install of Windows Vista or XP and no extra software. Both delete a recording with Ctrl-K then Return but nothing happens when the Record key on the MCE remote is pressed. The log shows that Ctrl-R has been pressed and in TV Guide the Record button does exactly the same as Ctrl-R which is jump back one screen width.

I only use a subset of the remote buttons but all others I use seem to function as expected. Its not a show stopper as there is still the old way of deleteing files. However far more significant is that I can now actually delete recently viewed recordings from the client. Thanks Sub that is two of my NPVR problems sorted within the last day or so!

I think I mentioned this when NPVR first came out but Ctrl-R does generate APPCOMMAND_MEDIA_RECORD

I double checked here, and it definitely works here with my MCE remote:

These key presses aren't relevent to NPVR. They're only used if you want to perform the same action as the APPCOMMAND in MCE.
