How much ram req'd to delete swap file?

Ok thanks for the clarification since as a standalone sentence I disagreed. I still don't categorically agree now either since for the single-purpose machines HTPC, people (not the OP) quite often are penny-pinching on the RAM, CPU and the swap still might be more important just because of Win7 optimization.

Oh, don't misunderstand, I'm completely against disabling swap under pretty much any condition; I'm just pointing out that the logical falsehood of "I did it and didn't have problems so therefore it's good to do it" might be even more prevalent among HTPC users because that is exactly the sort of usage model where it's less likely to cause problems. Not causing problems isn't the same thing as being beneficial though.
