difficulty in adding to info bar

how difficult would it be to add info to info bar (ctrl b). when hitting "ctrl b" to show info, could you grab channel name from the channels page in settings. similar to when you hit the up arrow it shows the name from the channel settings. i found that the name section is more open to adding data. it will accept more charactors and i can add info.

You can edit the 'MetaData' bit of C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skin\Default\Players\LiveTV.xml, to show @channelName if you want.
