New Schedules Direct API

Could the SD import routine be updated to support a new SD API . It has some nice features including QAM frequency and correct series and episode information. More information on the repo

I'm beta testing it now, and it uses a JSON interface. Is the SD.XML format support as an XMLTV input file, or is that only used internally?
