NEWA Config Screen Documentation

I have been unable to find documentation for the NEWA config screen. I am most interested in information on the --EWA configuration Settings -- section. I am attempting to access NPVR service from another computer. Do the values in this section affect that access ?

I have tried http://pvr:8866/logon.aspx, http://pvr:8866/guide.aspx and http://pvr:8866/guide2.aspx. For all of these I get connection timed out.

If it were me, I would try the following, with an attempt to access NEWA after each, ...

1. Switch off firewall software on server.
   
2. Switch off firewall software on the client.
   
3. Use IPCONFIG in a command prompt on the server to get the server IP address and then try http://999.999.999.999:8866/guide2.aspx

Sorry about the digression from the topic.

A truly great suggestion. To clarify my original post the name of the system with NPVR is PVR and its address is 192.168.2.3. From my NPVR system instead of using localhost I used 192.168.2.3:8866 and that worked. From my other system I did a ping to 192.168.2.3 and that worked, however with 192.168.2.3:8866 I am still getting connection timed out.
