MediaMVP and NextPVR

I have four MediaMVPs connected to my PC and love Comskip. Due to their incompatibility with NextPVR, I opted to stay with GBPVR several years ago. I've only visited this site a few times during that time.

I'm about to retire my old PC, which has a PVR-150. I ordered a new PC and also a PVR-1800, as the new machine will accept PCI express only.

My question: Has anything changed with NextPVR regarding its incompatibility with the MVP & Comskip? I'd like to stay current, but if it means that I have to junk my MVPs, I'll stick with GBPVR (which continues to work flawlessly).

I'm using NPVR with 4 MediaMVP's and it's working quite nicely. Well, other than being stuck with the 4:3, 480 screen. Comskip behaves just as it did with GBPVR.

Thanks Harry. Is it possible to skip forward or backward while playing? I know that was a problem early on.

Yep. Martin tweaked the custom mvpmc firmware for it to work correctly. I just checked and the firmware I'm running is dated Oct 30, 2011.
