That worked. I already had minimal OSD selected on the config screen.

After I setup Internet connection sharing on my computer, I unplugged my MVP. When it came back up, it took a while to load the MVP, but the on-screen menu worked excellently.

What does Minimal OSD do? And what does the MVP Live pre-play delay actually do? In what scenarios would you adjust this setting?

Thanks again.

It just shows the OSD information less often over top the video. The MVP is a bit underpowered for the job, so becomes less responsive when its struggling to play video and display graphics at the same time.

When you change channel, it waits this long before playing the new channels MPEG2 file. If the value is too small, it'll be very jerky for a few seconds after changing channels. If the value is too large, the channel change will take quite a while (but will be smooth).
