Video freezing after a few channel changes (Ceton Infinitv)

Sorry, might need the same logs again, but with one additional log. This time set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NPVR\LogReaderAutomap=1 and also collect the c:\temp\reader-automap.log

I wish I could help with logs, but with pacing in my modifed Network Recorder the samples that have been uploaded so far play fine for me.

@mediamad, if you could get me that 100MB SD sample on dropbox that would be great. Also make sure you are running will all the R2 patches.

Martin, I can't get more than a few seconds of an SD channel to play. HD seems to be the only ones that will play stable before a switch...

Sorry Martin, but I think you're going to need to find a way to fix the PAT entry on the streams produced by the Network Recorder (or it's upstream data supplier). I'm pretty sure it's the root cause of this issue. This is producing odd ball multi-program PATs, and the application just cant tell which one it should be playing. All other device options in NextPVR produce a valid single-program PAT.

NextPVR does have some support for playing recordings with these types of PAT, but it depends on scanning a lot of data to try to identify which channels are present, and this just doesn't work for live tv where that data isn't typically available. It'd be a big effort to add additional delays for buffering, stream monitoring for live streams, and awkward for me to test.

I think SageDCT was producing the data? If you have the source to this, I'm happy to help point you in the right direction to fix it to produce single-program PAT.

Sub, there is a a recent post on the Sage forums about making it open source but Andy/babgvant hasn't responded. Historical most of his work is FOSS but I privately asked him a couple of months ago and he said the source wasn't available. I suspect there is a reason related to NDA etc which you know all to well. SageTV users wanted better muxing too, but he was relucntant to make changes, I suspect he is writing the raw rtmp stream to file from the DVR.
