There is no obvious sign of errors in that log, but given you've got some channels during the scan, it sounds like everything is setup ok.

Maybe try increasing the <ScanCollectionMS> setting in your config.xml. By default it gives a maximum of 5000 ms scanning each frequency.

It might also be useful to have the HDHomeRun config utility up while NextPVR is scanning, so you can see if it's locking during scanning etc.

You might also want to set the HDHomeRun application to 'OTHER: ATSC' (or whatever the exact text is) rather than NextPVR or GBPVR, in case PID filtering is getting in the way.

Thanks! I doubled it to 10000 and the program crashed when it hit channel 15, so I'll back it up to 6000 and see what happens.

You got it right, and that's what I have it set to. Thanks!

6000 MS on scanning solved the crash problem, but produced no more channels. I bumped it up to 7000 and the program crashed again.

It is having memory corruption in the earlier logs too, but it is trapped, so definitely not a good state.

Did you try with the application set to NextPVR in the HDHR Setup? Something else that may be worth a try: In the HDHR setup, Advanced tab, try setting the Virtual Channel Table Mode to "Inject TVCT".

Edit: looking at the logs, your signal quality is low on just about every locked channel. You may need to improve your signal.

Yes; this resulted in no channels found (by NPVR).

That did the trick!

Oh, and about the signal strength: I have the antenna aimed to pick up well the channels I watch (the best one 100% signal strength and 95% signal quality). Not that it matters now since "Inject TVTC" did the trick.

So if you wouldn't mind explaining, what does "Inject TVCT" mean/do?

Thanks everyone for your help and patience!

It overrides the default virtual channel tables in the PSIP data of the stream. Instead of the VCT that is being broadcast, the HDHR injects it's own VCT based on the channel scan table in the HDHR Setup.

Hm, interesting and good to know! For some reason, that info was not in the HDHomerun user guide.

Thanks again for all your help!
