EPG not showing red after update

This problem seems to have re-appeared on 2.5.9: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...recordings.

If I leave NextPVR open overnight, the display typically does not show shows to be recorded in red. The timeline is red, but not the shows themselves.
It will let me set another recording on the same show.
The shows do record, but I have to stop and start NextPVR to get things displaying correctly again.
I assume the trigger is the EPG update at 2am.

There was a patch that fixed it in 2.0.3, but it seems to have re-appeared.
In the screenshot, Downton Abbey Encore is supposed to record.

As a possibly related note, nDroid has the same issue - shows to be recorded are not highlighted.

Any suggestions?

its been happening ever since this version came out
just restart the app

Also the double up thing happens then it wont show red either (mainly happens on prime for me here in NZ)
Yes i have the update during livetv unticked(or what ever) it doesnt fix it
only thing that fixes that one is to empty epg and reload or ignore and it come right on mondays normally

Nistrod, if you click the show before it on the TV Guide, then press the right arrow, does it correctly highlight the show you intend you've scheduled to record? If you then press the right arrow, does it move to the next show in the guide, or does it take multiple presses to get to the next show?

Yeah, I went through the previous thread.
It single clicks into and out of the show.

If you zip and attach your database, I'll check why it's not highlighting.

Sometimes it can happen if the show time has moved slightly since it was originally scheduled, causing NextPVR to not be able to find an exact match when drawing the guide.

Actually, when I check, nothing is highlighted!

Hmm, I tried that database and it was successfully highlighting those two shows for me. (times are different in my guide, since I'm a different timezone)

Are you sure you're running the current version with the most R2 patches?

The problem has always been that this goes away if I restart NextPVR. It only happens if I leave it running over a nightly EPG update.
Presumably, you loading up a new d/b involves restarting.

I will restart it, then trigger an update manually and see what happens.

Install latest patches.

Restart NPVR, red shows are visible.
Then go to System, Update EPG.
Wait till it completes, then back to TV Guide.
Red shows have disappeared again.

Restart NextPVR, red shows are visible.
Run NPVR -updateepgonly, wait until it completes.
Red shows are still visible, as are the next days.

???
