I checked the code again and Direct = Native but Native is what it should be. Direct was for direct urls to other web servers. For recommendations on playback in xbmc I'd recommend sub's addon in general because it is fully integrated with the closed source backend except in the fully cases
- you want transcoding for atv2, android or remote internet streaming
- you watch in-progress recordings that you want to timeshift resume etc
- you want resume comskip etc and want to share resume points with nextpvr clients
- you like Eden
Recording and searching via x-newa is its prime strength until xbmc pvr matures.
