Well, I dug into skins. Seems easy enough to do a background, and a preview, as well as buttons. I know a fair bit of html, so learning xml shouldn't be that difficult.

For a raw cap beginner like me, any suggestions on which plugins I might like? I don't know where to start, there's so many.
I'm definitely going to grab the IMDB one first!

Everyone's of course going to have their favorites, but I use XRecord and Guide2J the most.

Allright! We're making progress [Image: smile.gif]
I have a couple of plugins installed and configured. I must say, the instructions are a little fuzzy for a beginner (over at wiki).
I even modified a skin to my liking [Image: smile.gif]
Now I've got a technical question...is it possible to get gb-pvr to record elementary streams, instead of muxing?
I really like (and have been using for a long time) Cuttermaran, which works only with elementary streams, and it's frustrating to have to demux every file before editing. I find nanopeg too slow, and don't want to pay for playskool things like VideoReDo. Wink
