tuner crash ?

I just notice my 3rd pic tuner wasn't working and had a look in the logs where I found something odd. Wondering if it's tuner/driver issue or program error:

Btw, it's a hauppauge hvr-5500 identified in windows as "'Hauppauge WinTV 885 Alt TS Capture"

After restarting recording service the tuner started working again.

Are you running any multidec plugins?

yes multidec, I've also run into another problem. I've done more than 100 recordings in past month, but this week 2 have failed the same way. Video is very corrupted with lots of video and sound artifact and then the recording is ended before time. Is there a way to see what tuner was used for a spesific recording ? I was thinking one tuner was acting up, but in theory the tuner that I'm talking about in this thread should not have been used in todays recording that failed.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the multidec plugin, since that error message is typically generated by something running in native code with direct access to memory, rather than .NET code (NextPVR). I suspect you'll find if you disable the multidec plugin the error will go away...though admittedly it's not so useful if the channel is encrypted
