I know I've asked this question before, and the response was something on the order of "it can't presently be done".

I'm going to take one last stab and be more specific, and hopefully not tick you off.

I realize how much work you've already put into this product.

That said, how much effort would it take you to add a switch to the RECORDINGS menu to filter records by drive letter?

The mechanism is already in place for me to easily tag specific recordings to different drives.

I can't imagine I'm the only person who would like to have separate listings for WiFE, KIDS, etc.

This is a big deal to me, and the last step to totally pull the plug on SageTV.

Your native handling of my DCR-2650 is rock solid compared to SageDCT.

Give this one a try. If you've got multiple recording directories defined then it'll give a "Filter" menu option at the top of the Recordings screen. This will let you choose between them. It's only filtering the "ready" recordings at this stage, not "pending" and not "what's new" - it wasn't clear what I should do with these other screens, since I could see arguments for both sides. ie, may always be beneficial to know the recordings are occurring, or what's going to be recording soon etc.

This is a very nice improvement. It would be nice to also have a filter option for just the default recording location, too. (For me, that's the location of the active/recent recordings.)
