Hi

I notice the time updates every 5-10 seconds, however the date always renames on the day the page was open, i have a status screen outside the server room, and the date never moves, however the time is always correct...

is this a bug?
Many Thanks
Ashley

Nope... not a bug.... the day/date is a static heading on the page that is updated on page load. The time is an Ajax component.

If you do decide to change the source of the date (or even if you don't) maybe you could think about adding the Day of the Week to the date format - that way, nobody can accuse me of not even knowing what day of the week it is... Smile

How does this look? One thing is on the Guide the date changed to be what was being displayed in the guide.... let me know your thoughts.

Image of all non-Guide pages a well as view on the guide page (I changed the guide date to a different date so you can see why there is a second date on the guide page)

I'd prefer if the date at the top right of the page was the current calendar day/date to be consistent with the server time below.

I can already see the current guide day/date in the selection boxes to the left of the GO button just underneath the tabs...

Problem is.... having the date of the guide show clearly on the guide page was an enhancement many moons ago.... I would hate to remove that as others may expect/like it.

If you change your guide date now you will see the date changes on your guide page to = what day you are looking at within the guide.... so this is nothing new.... only thing that is new is modifying the ajax line to carry the day/date along with the current time for the server.

Or are you just saying put the server time first on the guide page and have the guide date line under the server day/date?

TBH I hadn't realised that the top right date was related to the guide date... but since that is the case, you definitely shouldn't change it (other than to add the day of the week and the time)...

Maybe just extend the Server Time field to include the day of the week and the date as well as the time...
