Isn't PSK modulation normally used in terrestial broadcast? When I worked in the remote sensing business older satellites used PSK for modulating the telemetry.

My question is what i have to change in transponder file to recognize turbo-8psk modulation.

You can try the attached patch.

You'd need to edit the tuning line to add a 5th parameter, specifying the modulation
9=11862,V,27500,0,TURBO_8PSK

I did this but no success. Something else I can try? It shows DVB-S2 but can not find channels.
