Hi,

I have installed nextpvr and it is not recognising/discovering all the channels. I am using the latest version on Windows 7. I am in Australia and the channels it is not recognising is Channel 9 (and the channels associated with Channel 9 such as Gem and Go!).

I also have media Centre installed and it discovers all channels fine.

Am I missing something?

Paul.

It may be that the .ini file that specifies the frequencies to scan is not up to date. Try scanning after selecting "All Countries" and "All regions frequencies" in the drop down lists.

If that ain't it ... please post logs ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...alledParts

Good Luck.

Hi Graham,

I can't find where to check the "All countries" and "all region frequency". There are many ini files in \tuning. Is there a specific one to update?

Regards
Paul

It's on the device settings screen.

It was set to 'All regions', 'all frequencies'. I tried several different combinations and the one that worked was 'Australia', 'All frequencies' with the check box mark in the "Scan Offsets". Although a couple of the channels come up as 'unknown'.

Thanks.

Ah, yes - it was probably one of the devices that needed the 'Scan Offsets' feature. It's only the two countries that require this, and most devices do it automatically, so I forget about it.
