6.2-magnitude earthquake hits lower North Island

It felt pretty damn big here. I heard/felt it coming before it struck.

It's pretty weird seeing that Hobbit Eagle on the ground at the airport. There is another one too, with Gandalf on it's back (with staff pointing the way), but that one survived unscathed.

I wouldn't have wanted to be standing under that eagle and thankfully it seems nobody was.
