Just setup HDHomeRun Prime, worked with Comcast to get the channels setup. I have a couple questions about integrating with NPVR

Appears SchedulesDirect/XMLTV creates the channel names with the number and call sign. The prime only includes the call sign (see attached screen shot).

  1. Is there a way to bulk map the Prime channels to XMLTV EPG source? (remember mis-match above).
  2. I don't believe I can bulk-merge to combine the channels due to mis-match channel name, I'll need to do each one separately?

Disregard, after playing around a bit, I think I've figured out how to do this. Bulk mapping does work with about 50% of the channels, the others I'll have to do by hand.

JavaWiz, Does your problem with Bulk mapping (on the 50% that does not work) deal with channel numbers >= 1000? I have a problem with DirectSchedules mapping where the channel number is identified as n,nnn (i.e., 1,005) instead of nnnn (i.e., 1005). Doing each channel one by one is a real pain.

Nope, it has more to do with how HDHR identifies the channels (and call-signs) vs ScheduleDirect. In most cases the call letters match, but in others there is a mis-match and must be done by hand.

I ended up having to merge every one of them by hand because SD reflected channels with number and call sign, whereas HDHR only by call sign (i.e. for channel 3: SchedDirect=3 KRCA vs HDHR=KRCA)

thanks....in my case, the bulk mapping replication did not work for channels >= 1000. I suspect the mismatch was caused by channel numbers having different formats (i.e., 1,005 vs, 1005).
