Freeview channel numbers

I have just updated to 3.2.9. I think the local transmitter (Meridian Whitehawk Hill) had changed a few things so I deleted all the channels and rescanned. Now all the channels are in random order. The previous version of nextpvr always ordered them correctly according to the free view numbering system. What have I done wrong?

Sometimes timing issues can cause it not to get the channel numbers in the stream. You could delete them and try again.

Thanks for the quick reply Sub. I did delete several times and rescan but it just numbered them as it discovered them each time. Is there some device reset I can do or something else?

I have not done a clean rescan for well over a year but when I did few ever had the correct Freeview channel numbers so I did a manual renumber. However I have reordered the channels so the +1 channels are next to the standard channel which can be useful if you run out of tuners to record a particular programme. I also grouped the ITV, Channel 4 & Channel 5 sub channels together.

Can you delete all of the the tuners in NextPVR and then re-boot? The tuners should then re-appear in NextPVR but all trace of the channels should have been scrubbed from the database.
