Unhandled Exception

Getting an "unhandled exception" error (instead of the "conflict" screen) when trying to schedule a recording when a tuner is unavailable.
(actually, I found if I "continue" thru the error I do get the conflict screen)

error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

If I use the standard TV Guide I don't see the problem.

I have attached the error.log.

I read that post before I submitted mine.

I thought my problem was different?
(due to the fact I'm getting the "unhandled exception" error)

I honestly didn't even try to resolve the conflict after continuing thru the error message and getting to the conflict screen.

Some API changes happened with conflict handling.

Hi,

the logfiles don't contain the error - is it possible to paste the contents of the "unhandled exception" popup dialog?

Are you using the default schedule popup instead of the plugin's built-in popup (checkbox in "misc" section of the plugin config)? If yes, is it working when switching to the plugin schedule popup temporary?

The "unhandled exception" error only happens when using the default schedule popup.
When I uncheck the box in "misc" I don't get the error.

Thanks for the feedback, going to add a workaround for the error in the default schedule popup.

Hi,
New to nPVR. Installed latest version last week. Works well. Tonight I installed the TV Listings plugin and I'm getting "Exception" errors when I try to add a guide. I also get an error if I select "TV Listings" from the main menu. Something about there being no TV Listings database. As I said earlier, it won't allow me to add one. Including a txt file with the exception. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Running Win7 x64, latest nPVR and TV Listings.

Also, I have nPVR installed in a different directory than the normal "Program Files" directory, if that might be the reason?
