I've read the utilities posting on this program and searched a lot of the emails but I'm still uncertain about this program and whether it will work for me. All of my movies and TV Series episodes are downloaded by SAB. Will IGL work for that setup and if so, how should it best be configured? I only use NPVR to record local news but I use it to playback all of my downloads. All I want are episode descriptions. NPVR provides all the metadata I need for the series.

No iGL would not be useful at all for your use.

I had come to that conclusion after I read about using it in the processing batch files and realized NPVR wouldn't be processing those downloads. Thanks for your response.

Vidimport may do what you want (search in NPVR wiki)
Have not used it for ages so I'm not sure if it's still compatible.
