Version 3.2.9 - Win XP -SP3

Since upgrading to current version, I've been having the following issues:

Having to press "Enter" multiple times to select a folder.
Mismatch between icon/title & file played when selecting.
Exiting a video causes the "Resume / Restart" dialog to pop up after video stops. Pressing "escape" causes menu to pop back one level.
This one's not a bug - Live video works again (hasn't for some time)

Don't see anything in release patches that would cover this. Tried uninstall/re-install. Any recommendations? Go back one version perhaps?

TIA

I'm not aware of any of these problems, or seen other people reporting them. Are you using a keyboard or a remote? Sounds like you've got something strange going on with your input getting to the app.

More Sys Info:

DirectX v9.0C
AMD Dual Core @3.1 GHz
2GB RAM

The keyboard extra stroke thing is a minor issue. The real problem is the mismatch between what the icon says and what the media file the program actually plays.

Example Dialog Box:

"Do you want to resume or restart playback of:

Midsomer Murders.s04e02.Destroying Angel.avi

If I choose "Resume", it begins playing the next file in the list. If I choose "Restart", it plays the previous file in the list.
This behaviour is sometimes reversed, and I've even witnessed the file name in the dialog box change to different file name within the same folder when pressing "resume" or "restart".

This is a relatively recent phenomenon. Previous versions of GB-PVR & N-PVR worked fine.

I imagine there a file that I can clear/erase that will cause the program to forget what has been played previously. At first glance, that appears to me, to be the root of the problem.

I'm wondering if even this behaviour is somehow related to extra input. Can you reproduce this problem, then post the npvr.log along with a description of what happened?

Are you using a keyboard or a remote?

Using a keyboard / mouse (wired) as well as an Iogear wireless mouse/keyboard. Happens with both devices.

In a fit of rage Big Grin, I uninstalled, rebooted, & reinstalled NPVR. No difference. Did the same but with version 2.6.2, & the problem went away. Upgraded back to 3.2.9, and it's still working properly.

Thanks for all the hard work & support. 20 clams in your Inbox.
