Losing Recordings

I noticed the last few weeks that I am missing shows that should have been recorded.
At first I thought perhaps the shows were missed due to TV network scheduling.

This morning I discovered that the shows were actually recorded, displayed in my recordings list, but somehow mysteriously deleted.
At the time the show was deleted, as far as I know I was just doing the normal skipping around in the listings.
Next thing I know the show no longer shows up in my list, and the actual file was deleted.

One example of this problem is a show called "The Sixties".
If you could take a look at the log files when you get time I would appreciate any help you can give.

I can see one recording of 'The Sixties' being manually deleted by you at 2014-07-22 12:09:42 in those logs, but that's it.

I saw that also and wondered about it.
I know I didn't knowingly delete it.

Perhaps it has something to do with the plugin I (WE) developed
I will try to gather more info (if possible).

Yep, could be a bug in your plugin, or a case of fat fingers accidentally pressing keys you didn't mean to press.

I noticed that I had the new "auto delete" recordings feature turned on in MISC2.
I already coded something similar in my plugin.

Perhaps there was a conflict?

I turned off the MISC2 setting and will watch it for awhile.

Is it possible for user to change default of "auto-delete" to CANCEL instead of OK?

I'm pretty sure my lost recordings are due to a flaw in my plugin.

When I'm using your "Recordings" menu, and a show gets to the end of the file, the popup that is displayed is actually coming from my plugin.
When I tell it to delete the show it doesn't delete the show I was just watching, it deletes whatever show was left selected in my plugin.

Apparantly my plugin is still active in the background?
I assume I need to do something to unload (or whatever the term is) my plugin whenever I change menus?

If you're listening to events, you'll still get notified of events even when your plugin is not in the foreground (because plugins can often be interested in things happening in plugins, like playing files), so you need decide if behaviour for those events is appropriate responses. You may need to tweak your logic based on this.
